The 126-acre lush green space attracts not only the avid golfer but also the lay person who likes to mingle with nature in this concrete jungle that Dhaka has become. As you stand on that first tee at Abbey Springs, get ready to see some of the most breathtaking scenery you'll ever experience while golfing in this country. As you play our course, you're going to meander up and down rolling hills and travel wooded fairways. And as the connoisseurs say once you get hooked to golf, it becomes a life-long passion. Golf is more than just a sport. Much more in fact. It is a good way to get exercise, get to know people, mingle with nature, etc.

The Kurmitola Golf Club was established in the mid 1950s Shifting from the original location (presently Zia International Airport") it finally settled at the present site in the mid 1960s. A keen golfer and architect Mr. Pennink did the layout of the course. The course has developed over the years to its current challenging form. Kurmitola Golf Club is a great place for socializing. At present the majority of the members are military and civilian government officials. The expatriate community of Dhaka also loves this place.

KGC organises many golf tournament. While golf is played throughout the year the tournaments are held mainly in the winter season. Besides the wonderful course KMC also has two great restaurants and a bar. They have a swimming pool and a small health club with modern facilities.
